XD Gale of Darkness was legitimately better than Pokemon X/Y in every single way. Better models, better animations, better story, better music, better bosses, no Fairy type, better implementation of 3D, better towns, and better post game even.
The only thing X/Y has over it is the Phys/Spec split.
