What secondary typing and abilities would be useful for an icemon defensively? Is ice-typing completely unsalvageable for bulky mons? Pic-related for all the wrong reasons

This is honestly the only answer because yeah, ice is unsalvageable. I seriously cannot eve comprehend how GF thought it was a good idea to have a type ONLY resist itself while being weak to every type, and build them as fucking defensive mons. It's absurd. literally no mon benefits defensively from having ice type

Aurorus is pretty decent on a mono-rock team. Slap a choice scarf on it and its Freeze Dry helps it deal with bulky waters.

The problem is they start with "x but slow, like a glacier" as the first words they write down when thinking up new ice types without fixing the ice type so that those could work.

This probably. The worst problem would be stealth rocks more than actual rock types; which usually have their own numerous problems including being able to fucking hit anything at all.

It's good on paper, but:

In singles: Stealth Rock fucks it

In dubs: Rock Slides

What about Ice/Fighting?

If not that then regular Ice is probably as good as it will ever get.
