Sound has the following which already heavily base themselves off singing/music/sound waves

Not to even mention Fairy only had 3 moves to change into fairy typing, none of them even actually had anything to do with fairies. Sound comes with a list of attacks, an ability, a secondary effect ala Ghost type being unaffected by trapping and Poison types having no guard Toxic.
Not to mention the meta really needs a new typing because Fairy was a bandaid fix that didn't actually help defensive Ice, Poison (it could have if steel hadn't been there to do everything better again), grass, and now we've got a fucking bird problem, AND Fairy wrecks shit in Ubers. Dragon isn't even less broken. All that got stopped was the button, now we have fucking Mega Salamence and Ray Rizzo in his own goddamned tier.
Hell, even just changing Hyper Voice away from being a normal type move would help nerf both types since it stops Pixilate hyper voice spam and Aerialate Salamence's special offense almost entirely. It would even give us a reason to use some of the cooler secondary effect moves like Round, Echoed Voice, Relic Song and Uproar without just ditching those as soon as possible in game.
