I use it in my current ORAS team, and it deals with lots of enemies really well, mostly talonflame. I switched it into an obvious brave bird, and it didn't even take 1/3 damage and paralyzed it with static. Also KO'd both latios and -as.

Gen II had shitty Pokemon. Deal with it. A lot of them. People rag on Gen IV when it alone made Misdreavus, Piloswine, Sneasel, Aipom, Murkrow and Togetic to name a few into some of the most used and viable Pokemon to date.

Hell, we may never get evos again thanks to people complaining about their designs. You wanted them left alone, GameFreak granted your wish. Enjoy your transformations.

Yes, Mawile is Gen III, but it was one of the main contenders people had hoped got an evo.

Gen II's ratio of good to bad Pokemon are more noticeable. Delibird, Corsola and Smeargle are just horrible. Unown are also useless.
