Why is this game some cheatin ass nigger shit? God fucking damn. Also why does the game hand out Crits like fucking candy to the CPU team where they can OHKO your pokemon with some bullshit move when you never EVER get crits.

There's no RNG advantage for AI. You're just much more likely to remember the times it screwed you over rather than handing you a useless crit.
That being said, RNG is cancer. I would hope it gets removed someday, but GF are shit and would never do that.

Low accuracy/high damage moves would need to be balanced in a different way, along with either rebalancing or removing confusion. But I think so.

There's a pokemonshowdown hack for that I think.

Crits balanced out into the game, accuracy multiplied into power, secondary effects build up so you can hit twice with serene grace iron head to guarantee a flinch, but you're not gonna flinch just from hitting with it once.

I always thought of giving protect-like effects to moves like Fire Blast and Stone Edge; you can use them once to break through a wall or just have a powerful move, but they fail if used consecutively.
