The reason why Pokemon is so important to Nintendo is because it sells 3ds units, is made on a shoestring budget, and takes no effort to make. Putting it on every system would fucking kill them.

I wouldn't care, but I wouldn't buy it. Pokemon is best played on handheld, just because it's not something you really play in long periods of time, more short bursts.

Many of us played some Pokèmon game on emulators, let it be a windows platform or an android platform. You can emulate mon games on a PSP too, which is a Sony system.
I couldn't care the less, dual screen is not even necessary with Pokèmon games. On Vita we'd have to go through a few more menus, but that's it. 3D is a nice gimmick, but nothing more than that.

I'd love it if for example at the beginning of the game you could choose what you want your 6 pokemon to be, tailor their moves/IVs/EVs/abilities/stats/shinnyness, look at them on level100; then you're given their level1 counterparts, with the objectives of building them up to be those level100 monsters.

Also if you could get whatever legendary you want, also tailored, but only if you beat that very same tailored legendary at level 100 in a 1vs1 against one of your mons.

If they ended up going third-party like Sega did it might go multi-platform. Right now Pokémon is easily Nintendo's biggest system seller (unless you count every Mario sub-series together) though.
