Release Red/Blue on the E-shop, but not quite a Virtual Console kind of thing, more of a 3D classics, with some tweaks to it. Most notable tweak is that you can use pokemon transfer to put anything you catch into your bank, it's stats are re-adjusted to fit with the modern games. Wireless battling and trading. Battles have very faint backgrounds.
Only one download that lets you choose if you want to play red, blue, or yellow, but you have to delete your save file to play a different version.
Maybe Kanto sequels.
Maybe a new stadium, that instead of celebrating just Kanto, brings in gym leaders and other important characters from all regions. Also, battle music from all games.
And least likely of all, reboot the anime to be something more like origins in both style and tone, and with actual protagonist changes when each gen's anime ends. If Pikachu is really that important, every protag can have a pikachu. But Ash and Team Rocket aren't that important.
