Whats the point of 2 and 1 stage pokemon? Everyone use final stage pokemon anyways. Their pretty much fillers.

Because there is satisfaction in raising the cute little guys into big ol bruisers. Pokemon wouldn't be nearly as interesting to me if not for evolution.

Also, any game that gives you the super strong weapons right away isn't nearly as fun as those that build you up to them.

Because catching and raising weak creatures in order to make them stronger is the whole point of the franchise, and evolution is the best and most straightforward way to make the pokemon's growth evident.

So you can use 2nd stagers to curbstomp the game when they are still using 1st stagers long after they've leveled past that point and yet stiil seem to be using 1st stagers. This effect is obvious comparing the starters typical evolution level of 16 to 2 stage lines who usually evolve later or by evolutionary stone. It is basically a way to make the game easier at certain points in the game so you feel like your starter is super strong and get more attached to them.

I wish there were more Pokemon that could take advantage of the Eviolite. I wish Scyther could be better but it's ruined by Scizor. I really don't like Scizor because it takes everything away from Scyther and should've been its own Pokemon.

If you remove them you'll either have an early powerhouse that kills the game or your starter will be annoyingly useless for half of the game.
Why do you think pokémon that evolve very quickly are shit or that you won't find shit like Heracross in the early routes?

Then there's stuff like the poor Magcargo but that's another story.

GF doesn't balance for in game and levels probably help you out more than the 2 extra stat points you get from whatever evolution.

Like Lucario, all the stone or trade evolutions like Gallade, any Eeveelution, etc

I fucking hate single-stage evolvers. there's not as much development i feel for it compared to a 2-stage evolver.

When a pokemon doesnt evolve, im pretty much done with it and is boxed forever.

this is why i like Mega Evolvers. the pokemon is fully evolved, then evolves again. and you can do it every time it goes into battle.

The point of the game is to RAISE your pokémon
certain pokémon learn their moves earlier in a first stage form than second and final forms.
and certain pokémon don't need an evolution as they are already strong as fuck
certain second stage pokémon are handy with Evolite.
