Or more accurately, a fucking mess of tropes and poor storytelling reeking of tumblr stupidity, while somehow remaining actually quite impressive in terms of gameplay and difficulty.

LAST TIME:
After beating the Bug gym leader, we're asked to find the replacement for the poison gym leader, who offed himself in a not-at-all clumsy hamfisted scene. Turns out the replacement is the sister of our resident Flaming Faggot, who somehow possesses the least faggotry out of the entire cast. Before he directs us to her though, he wants to help out the daughter of the guy who killed himself, who has gotten herself caught and imprisoned in an evil psychiatric ward/hospital who is torturing her with electricity.

We now heads towards the basement to unlock the last gate. Cain is no longer blocking the last door, so we head inside.
