This is just the same shit but even more cringe, autism and tumblr.
Atleast the shitposts were concentrated to a small group. Now you don't know where it's coming from

I'd go with this. The board wasn't as saturated with furries and porn from the /tr/ days. It was also before people from other sites started to stay here. Plus, the discussions of the possibility of a new type and how far the concept of Mega Evolutions could go were great.

Been here since day one and I'll always miss the old days. It was like a Wild West of the Pokemon community. Sure, furshit and tripfags ran rampant, but we all had fun. The place had character. Garybombing was the shit. The bad egg scare was the shit. The MULTIPLE giveaway threads were the shit. Simgle, while annoying and hilarious at the same time, was the shit.

Now it's just shitposting for the sake of it and the whole board feels... Sterile. Kind of soulless. We don't have as many threads that are just pure comedy out of nowhere. Not as many posts/threads that are worth capping. Everything's generalized, and those that aren't are just reposts of a thread we might have had last week. I really only come here now for the period between when a new game has been announced and a few months after. Otherwise, it's just kind of empty.
