Also, Unaware Clef takes hazard damage, so more often than not, it'll get killed by two Leaf Storms anyways, even with one CM.

I've found success in OU with it. SubSeed+Leafstorm/HPFire. SubSeed beats a lot of its counters. HPFire beats a lot of things that resist grass and beats mons you can't subseed. Leafstorm for late game sweeping. Subseeding also causes switches which give you an opportunity to sneak in a Leafstorm boost. Still has a lot of stops to it like Sylveon, so I wouldn't consider it top tier at all.

Talonflame, Blaziken, Aegislash, Salamence, Ferrothorn, and Charizard all being in the top 12 of usage, and in 3v3 singles you can't give Serperior the same moderately intensive support as you can in 6v6 singles (Dugtrio and a Talonflame check at minimum,) where it's only decent anyway.

I don't know about doubles though but I do know Amoonguss and Talonflame are super common.

Well the calc would have just given it as a guaranteed 2hko. I'm not saying like 99 times out of 100 it will be a 2hko, that would imply that if you had the best luck in the world you could avoid the 2HKO with low rolls. Most of those BL mons are perfectly viable in OU, sometimes even at very high ranks, and are only rarely used there because people can't be bothered to fit them on their teams.

What's your point? There are plenty of pokemon that aren't banned from UU that are perfectly viable in OU with the right team support. People use BL and UU pokemon in OU, but generally don't because there's usually better options. That's why they don't have the usage stats to be fully-fledged OU.

You use Staraptor WITH Smogonbird and other Dragons or Flying-type to form the birdspam strategy. It typically uses Choice Band, Double-Edge, and Close Combat to get past everything Smogonbird can't.

BL Pokemon are perfectly usable in OU, as you can see in the Viability Rankings Thread. For example, Manaphy is the only Water-type special sweeper that is not reliant on Politoed rain and set up by itself in any other weather. Weavile checks Dragons and Flying-types and other shit, and so on and so forth. The only Pokemon I can see getting actually "outclassed" by OU Pokemon is Thundurus-T and Venomoth.

The only BL mons I'd say are bad in OU are Salamence (just use its mega in ubers lol,) Thunudurus-T (which I doubt many people claim as their bromon) and Venomoth. There's also Mega Medicham but its base form is usable in RU at least.
