Hey /vp/

I want to buy Pokemon Platinum but I've been ripped off a couple times before buying pokemon games, people sell illegitimate copies of the game and save files tend to corrupt after like 20 hours

Would you say this game cartridge looks legit?

Don't buy from eBay if you're looking for legit copies, that's like a golden rule. Sure, there may be some legit ones, but the site is full of Chinese copies.

this is the only time I suggest heading to your local retailer (GAME in your case). I've been in your shoes before, also when I bought one at Gamestop but the difference was that Gamestop exchanged them; you're SOL via ebay

That might have to be the guess, it sucks that it usually costs like twice as much there but I guess I'll know it'll be a legit copy

Where can I get Soul Silver in the UK? None of my local Game or CeX stores have them. I'm sticking with eBay as my last option but interested in the more official sellers.

Did you try Amazon? There customer support is top notch. If a seller sells you a fake they'll get you your money back. It's how I got my copy of platinum

Thanks. I tried Google before, but it came up with a bunch of PAL region/fake copies so this was the best way to be sure about it.
