Compared to most other boards, chances of /vp/ having girlfriends isn't strictly lower tier since a lot of girls play Pokemon, so having a boyfriend whos into it too would wave some points into their favour.

She was amused by it, back when I played it. Since breeding the little shits in Emerald tied in with my population genetics courses, she actually was amazed by there being any depth to the games.

Last game I played was Black, so I'm not spending any time on pokemon now and she never played any games. Actually she only plays the sims 2 and Heroes of Might & Magic 2,4 and 5 for some reason.

She's also my wife now.

She knows and she's fine with it. She played SoulSilver only to have something to talk with me (she was too worried we don't have many common topics even when we do have some). Turns out following Pokémon was her favorite feature and she refuses to play anything else if that isn't present.

She never played gen 3 though, so no interest in ORAS. She prefers HGSS for the following 'mons and Pokéthlon.

My GF loves pokemon but fell out of it around gen 4, she had diamond, SS, and now Recently X but still prefers the older gens.

She only has crystal for pre-gens, so I plan to give her my yellow, that way we can link battle and upload to Stadium for fun multi battles.

She still loves pokemon though, and we play every so ofren, but we're more Nintendo/sega junkies then anything else. And thats where our main focus lies.

We're setting up a Sega Arcade cabinet soon, can't wait
