>>22760297It's not really sudden though, things like this have gone on for years. And if you can't see why, then you're shortsighted. It's distributing a common medium to the masses at no cost. Of course people are going to latch on to others who generate new content. Doesn't mean it's good, but its got enough logic behind it.
As for the likes and subs, yeah, if you have a channel you're going to want people to sign up so that more people see what you're doing. Otherwise you're just broadcasting to a couple of guys between jerk off sessions and that's worth no one's time. The general attention span of people is miserable. It's usually a two second suggestion at the end of a video. If it honestly bothers you that much, just stop watching it a little early. I'll give you the people who droll on about it in the middle though, that shit's annoying.
I don't really watch any -tuber of anything though, in general they don't push out content that I care about. Doesn't make them bad, just not what I'm going to waste my time watching.
