Strategies that support the team are everywhere eg. Trick Room, Tailwind and rain. Spread moves and Fake Out/Brave Bird are really important so Wide Guard and Quick Guard are almost a necessity on every team. There aren't as many successful gimmick strategies as you'd think, but the notable ones are Beat Up Whimsicott + Terrakion and Perish Trap, they can wreck you easily if you make a small mistake

I'd just play and learn as you go along. Triples is really fucking fun when you get used to it.

If your opponent doesn't have wide guard, spam spread moves.
If your opponent has wide guard, triple (or double) target the wide guarder, then spam spread moves.

Literally everything knows protect. Battle spot unranked triples is really fun, but ranked isn't so much fun. You tend to see strategies like >>22763800 on ranked.

I'm talking about cart, not a battle simulator.
