Should Gamefreak conceal Gen VII's pokedex? Or at least partially? I feel like it's taking too much of the discovery away when they release everything BEFORE we even get the game. I mean, I'd like to see a few designs here and there (no more than 20 pokemon!!) but to know the entire family lines and what lines look viable certainly takes out a big chunk of immersion for me.

This was horribly magnified in XY where we only had some 70 new pokemon and we already knew about 30-40 before the game was even released.

I'd like to use viable mons but if I am consciously planing on which pokemon to catch before I play the game the first time (which is usually an all-new-pokemon-only run) it kind of kills the fun.
