No, it means we're past Kanto nostalgia and nostalgia in general.

well, since ORAS introduced the idea of a pokemon multuverse, it is not far-fetched to think of a re remake. they can add a lot, both to the mega evolution lore and the otriginal games plot.

they can introduce a new universe and redesign the original 151. crazy but it could work

Kanto remakes make no sense after XY.

20th annivesary doesnt mean anything. GF didnt bother when it was 10th annivesary.

They'll release some anime special, new merchandise, make some event and that's it. They'd never release two remakes in a row.

Another universe or whatever, who cares? Hoenn is still almost excatly the same as it was in RS. Why would Kanto AND its Pokemon be different?

I don't know if it'll be "soon", but you can bet your ass we'll have Kanto remakes. We'll have EVERY game remade every time we lose access to them. Hoennbabies were obnoxious by yelling "Hoeen confirmed" at every little thing we got, but getting Hoenn remakes was never a doubt. Right now the 3DS can play DS games, but just wait until we change generations, "Sinnoh confirmed" won't be as ridiculous anymore, and Kanto even less.

If they would plan on remaking Kanto they'd keep mega starters and Mewtwo for those games instead of giving everything in X and Y. To make it even more convincing they gave both Mewtwo and Charziard two ME's at once.

Well obviously all of this in 2016. We get XY2 this year.
And then GEN VII 2017. They said pokémon is going to be yearly so it fits, and I could see this working with the actual pace of the anime (a fundamental factor everyone seems to forget all the time).

This is the year of XY2 and we all know it. There 2 more slot for kalos born pokémon, Zygarde is underpowered comparing to Yveltal and Xerneas and has two coded moves not used. They've also said third versions are not in the picture anymore after Platinum.
It's going to be fuckin' XY2 and is going to suck as the original the sooner you faggots accept this the better .

They've pretty much retconned out anything to do with Yellow like they don't want anything to do with it. It's extremely unlikely they'll go with Yellow and not Red and Blue.

The funny thing is that Blue is still the Rivals Canon name in the US. Even the dub of Origins keeps his name as Blue.

Even though it's not a big deal especially to me, since I got red like any sane person would, you'd think they'd go ahead and make Blue for American releases, on account of what little effort it would take. All they would have to do is edit the title screen and slap a blastoise on the box.
