Speaking of which, Electivire is probably one good boost away from being usable in competitive. They do well for me in-game.

Mantine is going to draw in a lot of Electric attacks, obviously, and Electivire can use the Motor Drive boost. Volt Absorbers work too.

If you aren't over a certain attack stat, high powered moves, being sanic, priority and/or boosting fixes that right up.

Electivire has none of that, but luckily its in a position where only one of those can make a huge change.
