>>22796552This idea would be cool with a spinoff game, not the main games. If they made amiibos for every Pokemon and made it "blindbox" so you can't pick and choose what you get. And then you can have a battle with anybody else over wi-fi or locally using any 6 of your Pokemon amiibos.
Kind of simulates the "catching Pokemon" feeling that I imagine a "real trainer" would feel. They would be getting sold secondhand for hundreds of dollars I can only assume
