Now:
>Forced to get a download code. Employees are sometimes confused/greedy and might hassle you for a purchase or pre-order to get it, not know what you are talking about, or they might simply run out. Might luck out and get multiple codes, but it depends. Still has a time limit and just obnoxious all around. More then likely done to cut down on costs on cartridge manufacture and distribution.
