Yellow here before I get accused of not understanding tradition or some shit. I have hated trade evolution since I first picked up the game and the anime never requiring it didn't help my attitude towards the idea. At least now you can easily just trade with yourself, but it still feels like a pain in the ass.

this. i got so many pokemon just from GTS trading, free rare candies from pokemiles and secret base blisseys outside the daycare center. the ones that i couldn't get directly on omega ruby i migrated from my gen 4 games all the way up to pokemon bank.

it took me a long time to figure out that pokemon bank is a really easy way to "trade" pokemon from gen 6 games. sending entire boxes over hassle-free was amazing but by that time i didn't need many more.
