If the Pokémon is 50% gender ratio, if its DV of Attack is 8 or higher, it would be male, 7 or lower female.
If it's a biased gender ratio, adjust it.
Male Clefairy/Snubull those things would have 12 or higher DV in Attack, wereas a female starter would have 3 at most.
Defense was used as "incest check", since it was the first DV to be transferred and usually from the father.
You can't make a father fucks his daughter but you absolutely can make a mother fucks his son. It's was pretty fucked up.
