Switch out one of the single evo sprites with a sprite of a human, give that pokemon really shitty base stats and moves that a human could somehow pull off. Name it some generic male name or "slave" or "faggot" or whatever 4chan is into. Also make it a normal type.

I know nothing about prepping a sprite for a romhack, save the fact that sprites have to be 64x64. I threw together a smallish image of the line for you. Feel free to touch it up as you please.

If you change stats/movesets, make Blasteel a bulky physical attacker (I know gen III is pre stat split, so that should make it bretty gud :^) )

I put my heart and soul into Rainbow. Everyone at Rainbow is doing their absolute best for the game. But no. Because it's not Sage, the GameFreak wannabes, we're completely disregarded.

So what if we use memes? Who cares? We work the meme-age into a solid design. They aren't based on any animals or objects? They're just colourful shapes? You could say the same for your mons. Some of them are great, some of them are GF-clones and some are absolute horseshit.

We aren't just a hack. Sure, the hack is buggy and is a copy-paste (almost) of Kanto, but Catbow and the others are working so hard, SO hard to fix these bugs and make the best game they can. Me and other anons are working on DubsRainbow, the sequel. We try our absolute best too.

Why are you so elitist? Sage might be visually appealing, but what if the characters are bland and blank? What if the story is edgy or boring? There are so many problems that may occur. And I know any of this won't happen, because once again, you'll have about fifteen surveys to decide every ounce of the game.

And that's another thing that bothers people. Sage as a project is extremely slow. You might say, "We're nearly done!", but you're not. You have a million surveys to decide everything and none of you are independent. When Sage is finally finished, due to the speed you work at, it will either be 2020 and very outdated, or be bare-bones and lack any actual heart.

You people need to look at Sage from the outsider's perspective. You are a very good project as a whole, but you have flaws, and one of those flaws is that this isn't actually /vp/'s game. It's YOUR game.

tldr; fuck off and leave Aus and Rainbow alone. (Yes, Aus. You've ridiculed them before too.)

Or do you want all three on one 256x64 image? I am also going to tweak them a bit if that's ok. Squirsteel looks like he has oven mitts on, not boxing gloves :^)

Also, other suggestions:
Make Charmander and Charmeleon psychic/dragon and call them "Psymander" and "Psymeleon". They lose the psychic typing s per the evolution to pure-dragon Charizard.

Bulbasaur line is now dark/electric and they are renamed "Bulbashock," "Ivyshock," and "Zapasaur"

I can work on these new starters tonight, in the style of the Squirsteels if you wish.

Basically, each mon would have to be 256x64. The reason for the width is it needs to include two front sprites and two back sprites. One shiny and one normal for both. It's fucking irritating. In the mean time I'd just work on the sprites for the new starters. Cheers <3
