Found my old copy of pokemon blue, and AMAZINGLY, the things still holding onto my save... Expected the battery to have died long ago.
Question is, can i swap the battery out while its plugged into a DS to maintain the save file? Its the only hardware device i have that would let me get access to the solder points on the cartridge,(No GBA, GBA SP, GBA micro)
I know it'll work on those GBA's because they powerup the cart and let you acces(play) off them. Not sure about the DS though, since its not actually playing the cart(though i would assume its atleast running power through it, which i would hope, hold the save in memory while the battery is replaced)
Any help would be appreciated, since i had 95% completion on it, and i think id be cool to finish it up, 15+ years later.
