>>22810339Give it Leftovers instead. Aegislash is a very powerful defensive mon that deals a lot of damage. It's really good because it has a lot of resistances and immunities and can straight up wall a huge number of mons, then fire off powerful Shadow Balls.
NEVER let it take a hit in Blade forme. Always use King's Shield to switch back unless you can predict. King's Shield is notorious in competitive play because it has to be played around.
King's Shield prevents physical attackers from just switching in and hitting Aegislash with powerful attacks, because of the -2 Attack drop. You'll find that Aegislash finds plenty of turns to fire off Shadow Balls and deal huge amounts of damage to the opponent's team, and takes little damage itself - and this can be healed by Leftovers. Don't get predictable with King's Shield though, or your opponent will take advantage of the free turn. It's a guessing game that's tipped in your favor.
Your moveset is really good. King's Shield, Shadow Ball, and Sacred Sword are all on the most popular set, and Flash Cannon is good for Fairies. If you want to optimize your set, try this:
Aegislash @ Leftovers
252 HP / 4 Attack / 252 Special Attack
Quiet (+ Special Attack, - Speed)
This gives it lots of bulk and power for Shadow Ball, and the lowered Speed is good because Aegislash moving second means that it'll take hits in Shield forme, not Blade forme.
