>>22816468>It's baffling to me why people will enthusiastically defend being nickle and dimed.I actually like having nice figurines of my favorite characters that actually do something. This is from someone who has purchased those small TOMY Pokemon toys in the past.
I have Charizard on pre-order and would honestly have bought him and the other Amiibos I have (like Little Mac, Fox, etc.) whether or not they did anything extra.
If it's not your thing, that's fine, but it really doesn't seem like people are buying them just to unlock content.
