Which of Ash's former Pokémon are you most sad to see gone? Be that at Oak's Lab, or released, you just know they'll never return for an extended period of time.

Ash would just have Eevee, because he seems to be retarded enough to believe that unevolved Pokémon are just as strong as their evolved forms.

Then he'll act sad when he booted from the League yet again, with a team consisting of Pikachu, some unevolved starters, the Eevee, and the cruddy regional bird.

Buterfree is pretty much the only one.

Primeape was around for only like three episodes. Granted, Primeape was in some of my all time favorite episodes, but there was so little emotion there.

Pidgeotto barely bonded with Ash outside of freezing in the cave with the starters. So I felt nothing.

But Buterfree was there for a long time, and Ash even sought out someone he traded it to on a sinking ship to trade back because he missed it so much. The bond was there.

Nothing after kanto mattered much, but im sad about all the pokemon that didn't evolve because cute = sales.

I mentioned this in another thread, but the wasted potential that was Ash's Buizel.

It kicked it's evolution's ass in, but after that, faltered in every single gym battle he was put into.

...I'm pretty positive if it could beat it's own evo, that gives him potential to evolve later down the line, right?

I always felt the writers dumped Ash's Primeape as quickly as possible for no reason other than it wasn't a cutemon.
