Why is protect so fucking overpowered?
How do recruitment rates actually work?

Go into a dungeon with all the claws, check your stats, place a claw on the ground, and check your stats. If it changed they stack.

Think recruit rates are level based

It's based on your level, but the Pokemon all have a flat recruit rate based on species before outside modifiers.

The same exclusive item doesn't stack bonuses.
Protect is pretty OP in boss fights, elsewhere no because of its limited pp. Recruitment % includes levels, items, and fast friend added on to each wild poke's base recruitment %.
