Why do people do this?

inb4 git gud.
I have no problem with people using Ubers since most are shitters anyway, it just bugs me a bit when their team is normal otherwise.

Sometimes I just like to play with Legendaries whose designs or lore I enjoy. I usually nerf their IVs to even the field when I do though.

To my dear anon allow me a few moments to explain that outside of this samll image board there are millions of players whom enjoy the pokemon games without following strict guides on what mons to use and what moves, likewise a lot of people don't care about IV and EV breeding/training.

I myself have several boxes that contain

>A team of pokemon I enjoy using
>A team of bred pokemon with random movesets.
>Smogen teams
>Competative teams
and so on I also tend to sometimes splice in one or two of my favorite mons into my online teams for the simple reason I like the pokemon.

Now I know that may be a little hard to understand but please understand.
