Normal type would be worthwhile if it had literally no weaknesses and nothing resisted it, making it a true neutral type. Maybe Steel can still resist it since resistance is kind of its "thing," but it really sucks that it's not good against anything yet still has a weakness.

The fact that they're not super effective against anything is a problem, maybe Fairy, it would make sense because "Normal" people usually don't believe in magical stuff like Fairies, so that would weaken the Fairies power and allow for Normal type to be super-effective against it, possibly.

Normal type designs are always good though. (Maybe with a few exceptions)

Lickitung is a shitmon. Ursaring is a shitmon. Ai[p, os a shitmon, Raticate is a shitmon, Exploud is a one trick pony and a pretty shit mon. Stantler is a fucking shitmon. Spinda is the biggest fucking shitmon ever.

I think the pattern is pretty obvious. More BST and access to ridiculous tools is the way to go if you want good normal types.

That's the same for every mon. Only Fairy type seems to be able to turn shitters into threats.

I'm gonna say poor stats/abilities. M-Kanga showed how good a Normal Pokemon with a god-tier ability and decent stats can be. Return is actually a pretty good STAB move to have and Normal types generally get plenty of coverage.

They're better off defensively, as most good normals (Snorlax, Porygon-2, Chansey, Blissey) tend to be defensive.
