>>22861522That does sound pretty good.
MK8's DLC is split into two packs, the first is released but the second won't be made until May, the total amount for it adds 16 courses (with the core having 32), eight vehicles, and six characters with the main game having 30.
The courses in the first pack are all great and the same quality as the original; I don't necessarily like to play all of them, but they're well-made, just personal taste. The only complaint I'd have with the DLC is two of the characters are Tanooki Mario and Cat Peach, when the main game already had THREE versions of both Mario and Peach. But that's only sort of a complaint with the DLC and moreso a complaint with the character roster in general. The courses themselves are the things I bought it for and it's definitely worth $12 for another 16 stages.
>>22861533I'd love more free DLC but I don't think it's that realistic unless it's little things (like how MK8 had that commercial tie-in with Mercedes and gave like three free karts based off real-life cars). I'm fine with having to pay with DLC if the DLC is worth the money, it's no different than the expansion packs from the old days if it's a worthwhile amount of content for the price.
Though I want the Frontier so much that I'd pay far more than it's worth to get it. Nintendo knows that some people are and they'd probably take advantage of it but I wouldn't care if I got it. I know it's bad but I don't care anymore regarding that specific topic, I just want it and I'm willing to pay a lot for it.
