For the record, while I do make my edits and say that I made the EDITS, I make sure to point out that I didn't make the ART - I only edited it. I'm not so naive as to say that I created art when I only edit it. I always keep a copy of the original art saved, and I've got a friend who can source shit in half a second if it needs to be found.

I've never had an artist come forward and say that he didn't want me editing his work before, but if you don't want me to, I'd rather that you let me know up-front instead of stewing in a corner. If artists tell me that they don't want me to edit their work, I won't, but it doesn't help for you to rage in a different thread without actually posting the art that you made so that I know not to edit it.
