Explorers of Time and Darkness are really good. I'm still surprised how much the story sucked me in the first time I played it.

I just regret restarting when I had the code to get Mewtwo in Time. That shit's never coming back.

I only have experience with DS, but you send out a SOS and someone else responds to it by putting in the code. It was made so much easier once you could do it with quick wireless communication, but OP doesn't have that luxury.

Yeah, I think I'm on my third or second playthrough now. I always found it hard to reset it, given the nostalgia value and the amount of time it takes to finish it and buff up your character.

I always tried to recruit a Snorlax, as it is one of my favourite pokemon. I would just walk around in its dungeon forever to get one. Never got it.

Pikachu is really good since it learns Discharge (in both games I think) which will be handy in clearing out monster houses. That and having Quick Attack will be good when its following behind you since it can go right past you to hit.

ORAS at least was successful in entertaining and succeeded in making a great remastered soundtrack. Gates to Infinity was just a grind both figuratively and literally.
