I'd like it if they made Mega Dragonite a special attacker. So you could use regular dragonite if you wanted to run the physical sets and mega dragonite if you want to run the special sets (it has a huge movepool after all).

But knowing GF, they will give it areliate and make it a worse megamence.

Irrelevant/outclassed in OU by better stuff, and generally ineffective against the current meta. They aren't that great at all, and there's a reason you won't see them after 1200 on the ladder. Despite their usage, Milotic and Ambipom desperately need to drop down to RU and NU respectively.

They probably gave Mewtwo megas so it can be on pair with Arceus. "The original ultimate pokemon" now has more diversity with it's roles than just being a standard special attacker. I also like the idea of having two Mewtwos that either enhances it's brawn or awakens it's brain power.

Even if they don't trigger the policy that fear still keeps dragonite around for a turn or two longer. You could even argue that dragonite sets NOT using weakness policy benefit from the existence of weakness policy dragonite just because nobody wants to crack multiscale with SE moves. You do also have the option of switching it into a stone edge or ice shard to get the boost and KO back with extremespeed. So yeah, Dragonite benefits a lot from the sets existence.

It would need a pretty big buff in attack to pull off, saying that though it can easily be terrifying. It gets things like Quick Attack, Feint and even Double Edge, Aerilate those with stab EQ and with nice natural physical bulk, i'd be scared to face it.

What exactly would a mega accomplish without being a waste of a slot like Latios? More bulk? Just give it some screen support. More power? Since GF barely know shit about damage output from megas compared to base forms holding items they'll probably make it weaker than LO Adamant Scoilpede. More speed? Speed Boost nigga. Unless they'll make it a mixed attacker(which would be weird since it's special movepool is absolute shit) I just really don't see the point of a Mega Scolipede existing.
