It wasn't a 3D Showdown.
If you lacked the DS games, you had shit premades. You couldn't even pick from all the pokemon, just some premade teams that were NFE.
If they ever EVER revisited this as a concept, they'd need to make it as a 3D Showdown.
Allow players to pick any of the 721 (or more depending on when) Pokemon and then even pick from a premade set or allow more advanced players to customize nature, IVs and EVs.
It would completely eliminate the need for genning/injecting, allowing breeders and injects to stop fucking neck slicing eachother.
Basically, 3D Battle Simulator, so people who dont have the time to play the game for its story and the breeding can just dive into battles online with other players instantly.
Also, minigames. I wanna throw hoops on Ekans or dance with Clefairy again. That shit was entertaining. Literal WEEKS spent as a Lickitung eating sushi with my childhood bff and laughing our asses off when one of us got the wasabi one.
Ratatta race was the shit, and Furrets header was what made me realize how fucking adorable furret is.
