I have never built a team for competitive play. My team is solely based on the bros I've had throughout all the games. 5/6 of them are starters and i love every single one.

No I usually have like 4-8 teams at once and I make new ones all the time. I like certain Polemon a lot but that doesn't mean I have to use them competitively ever.

What kind of question is that to ask competitive players? They build their teams just because they want to win. Why would they love their Pokemon?

Both. I play UU almost exclusively, so yeah.

My team is-
>Forretress
Used him in my HG playthrough and loved him. Better than Ferrothorn.

>Porygon2
Never used him until competetive play and haven't taken him off the team yet. So damn reliable. Love him.

>Scrafty/Mienshao
I'm switching back and forth between the two, currently using Scrafty. Both are great, and used Scrafty in my White playthrough and Mienshao in White 2. Love them both, and they're both amazing.

>Salamence
Used him when I beat my first game (Emerald). Been my bro ever since. I couldn't find a mon I liked for this slot, and since he was bumped down I put him in immediately.

>Tentacruel
Used him in Fire Red and loved him. He's just kinda there, but great for poisoning/burning and then stalling with ridiculous SpD/Black Sludge. With Mence, I didn't really have anything for this slot so I threw him in there and haven't removed either since.

>Darmanitan
My scarf revenge killer/late game sweeper. Used him in White, can kill just about everything. 10/10 would recommend.
