I think most of the interesting vidya trivia comes from snooping inside the game's code, seeing what makes games tick and what did and didn't make it into final production. Take the robo-dragon thats just sitting inside Sonic Adventure for Dreamcast.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UmGbXhhD_5YI also really liked the hype when Diancie, Hoopa, AZ's Floette and Volcanion were found alongside the shiny forms of the main gen 6 legends. I was equally hyped for when the ORAS mega stats and Hoopa-Unbound was found.
DYKG doesn't really do it for me, most of their stuff is easter egg-tier or grasping at straws. They do find some good stuff every once in a while, i'll admit.
