Slowbro is mine, great design, great defense, and it's motherfucking water/psychic. I love Slowpoke and Slowking too but Slowbro is GOAT.

Yeah his typing is shit but his mega corrects it and gives him filter. Plus with one Rock Polish he can be a very good sweeper. Off the competitive side I love his design. Ive always imagined the metal on his head as a cow skull.

Has a unique typing with a great selection of moves. I have been fascinated by insects since I was little and it's no wonder why Bug is my favourite type. While I was indifferent to his mega at first, it has grown on me. Heracross is a bro.

I wrote this post with my feelings about Altaria back when it was first revealed to get a Mega. In the months since it has climbed back up the ranks from neglected old buddy to ace mon on my team, but this explains what I like about it so much in the first place. Steel is my favorite type and Empoleon interested me with its one of a kind typing. I now wish I played the game with this starter.
It never ceases to amaze me in battle and I love its design and concept.

Throh was a beast from hell in my black nuzlocke and carried me through 5 gyms (Lenora, Elesa, Clay, Brycen and Drayden), singlehandedly destroyed 3 of the E4(Grimsley, Shauntal, Marshal) and wrecked N and Ghetsis

He may never be good in competitive, but he's earned a nice little spot in my favourite pokemon list

When I was a little kid I was obsessed with sea creatures: doplhins, whales, starfish... so, naturally, while playing pokemon most water types caught my attention, and what's the first imponent water type pokemon you find in the game? Misty's Starmie.

Since the moment I saw it I knew I had to find one. Eventually, I found a Staryu, and I was happy as fuck. At first I didn't know it needed a stone to evolve, so I got a little frustrated each time it leveled up and didn't evolve, but eventually I got my Starmie.

And to my delight it turned out to be a great pokemon: fast as hell, great movepool (that is constantly getting bigger with each new game), decent sp.atk, decent typing.

It has always been my favourite pokemon and it still is.

After reading the Nuzlocke comics, I thought I'd have a go at Crystal. My first catch was a Sentret that I named Towelie, I wanted something else and was pretty disappointed at first, but as time went on he became really useful, especially once he evolved and I'd taught him thunder punch and headbutt. He quickly became my favorite and I was hoping to make it to the E4 with him until Pryce's Dewgong critted him to bits. Finished the run In the name of our fallen bro, the shitty thing is my second catch made it to the end. I use him all the time in oras now.

I thought Mawile was just a really weird Pokemon when I first saw it in Ruby, and I grew a liking to it.

It came to a point where I took Mawile with me everywhere I went even though it was incredibly mediocre.

I was REALLY pleased with its mega. Wrecking stuff left and right with Swords Dance and that amazing typing. Mawile really stuck on me.

I love this gal.

Some people may find it to have a 2edgy4me design, and unfortunately a lot of its fanbase is because of that. Even though Gallade was my favorite pPokemon in 4th and 5th gen, Absol eventually rose to the top. I also like its Mega, I think it looks pretty nice, though I can understand where people are coming from if they don't like its design.

It has been my favourite since I was a kid, and it just kinda stuck. To be fair though, I have more than one favourite. It's hard to have only one when there are over 700 amazing Pokemon out there.

I think Mega Slowbro is shitty because they just took the same Pokemon and put the shell somewhere else, which they already did with Slowking. It looks stupid riding around in that shell, the whole concept just seems lazy. Then again a lot of the megas made me say really? when I first saw them.

If Nintendo wanted to be slightly less hackish they could've made another alt form for Slowpoke with different typing or something, like Water/Ghost or Dark evil Slowpoke. It wouldn't have made sense, but they're already fucking with the types with this fairy stuff so they might as well roll with it.
