Is it really possible for the Sturdy Tyrunt from Battle of Hoenn to be female? It can be either gender according to Serebii, but I've soft reset for 2+ hours and gotten nothing but males. Is it gender locked, or am I just unlucky?

I don't actually know about the event in question, but Tyrunt is still a fossil pokemon. Its chance to be male is 87.5% like starters, so its possible you're unlucky.

Mine was, it depends on the wondercard I believe. If yours was male then it'll always be male, people like me got lucky it seems.

Most events nowadays lock the gender when you receive the wondercard.

I still have some shiny ones leftover from a giveaway I did a while back if you're interested. I bred jolly and adamant ones since I didn't know which was better, and they have dragon dance, rock polish, ice fang, and poison fang. The adamant ones are holding life orbs and the jolly ones are holding choice scarves. They're both 5V males though, so I hope that's ok.
