I'm confused here. You need an Eon ticket to get Latios and Latias (depending on OR or AS), right? Now I don't have either of them, my girlfriend does, and she has both Latios AND Latias in-game.

How is that possible? And if it is, what's the point of this promotion they're doing now for the Eon ticket?

Also I can confirm that you get the EON Ticket passing someone. I got it that way at a local festival.
