The last issue ends with an image of Jesse and James married so shippers ate that shit up and drove the price skyhigh, and now the average scanner can't easily get their hands on it.

I loved how Electric Tale of Pikachu used Pokemon as props; shit like Brock using a Vileplume as a bouquet really married the concepts of cartoonish manga and the Pokemon world really nicely.

I have scans of the whole series in moon that I read.

I really liked that the Pokemon often deviated from the original designs a bit to fit with the artstyle, unlike most other Pokemon manga which feel like they try to keep on-model as much they can.

The same author also did an adaptation of half the first movie that's pretty cool, but unfortunately it's only an ad for the movie so it doesn't get to cover the whole thing.

That's the best Pokemon Manga IMO.
It made Ash likeable, It captures that 90's japanese futuristic style from the beggining of Pokemon without being afraid of getting sightly ecchi.
It was tasty.

Anyway 50/50 manga, improved Ash compared to all the Ash before Kalos, Team Rocket is equally funny, perhaps hit or miss art quality, moe and classic looks are good, then there are the shitty proportions and drawings.

Also thought that Misty was first Gary, then R63 Gary, realized it was actually Misty.

Online manga scans in general are of low quality, and once an English version exists, that's it. Whether it's a poorly translated edit of a non-English version, or a censored/flipped official version, few people think it's worth the effort to fix all those old series when new ones are constently coming out. If Jojo part IV is stuck with those Duwang versions and early Pokémon Special/Adventures chapters still only exist online in Viz editions, what hope do these have?

Huh, I've been reading Jojo Part IV and haven't noticed any awful translations so I think Duwang isn't the only version out there. I thought Part V was the one with the REALLY shitty translation.
