>>22890599Probably just the opportunity cost is due to new megas, especially if you consider that Mega Lopunny and Gallade compete for it with a mega slot (they don't do as well against stall but Mega Lopunny is generally a better pokemon and Mega Gallade is pretty brutal to all non-Sableye defensive teams).
Also a decent chunk of its usage was from rain teams, which now have Mega Swampert. And Mega Altaria can switch in to it pretty well.
That's my best guess at least. It's still a good pokemon.
