Gunk Shot is the strongest physical poison move in the game, yet many of the best physical Poison-types don't learn the move. What I'm trying to say is that, as bad as things are now, they could be worse. Of the Pokemon that can learn Gunk Shot, the ones that can deal the most damage with it are still Poison-types.
Power Gem, the strongest Rock-type move in the game, cannot be learned by any of the best Rock-type Special attackers. Of the Pokemon that actually can use the move, raw stats let Mega Ampharos, Dialga, and Palkia deal more damage than Probopass, even though Probopass has STAB on Power Gem.
