You can probably use Showdown to check for legality between moves, though really there are only a few moves like Defog/Focus Punch that are viable but only offered in previous gens and wouldn't be compatible with new-gen egg moves or hidden abilities, especially now that tutor moves are out.
Also, I think ORAS WiFi and any online/VGC tournaments will only allow Pentagon Pokemon, so it's pretty easy to tell what's allowed for those.
