Why is this board so opposed to criticising Game Freak?

Don't we all just want the series to keep moving forward without leaving aspects of past games behind?

Threads. Nothing more but guaranteed replies and an arguement for Lulz since people don't want to accept that Gen 6 is the generation which appeals to casuals
Normally every other community has moved on to do something else while they wait for a new game but this is 4chan and people here love to circlejerk and make shit out of almost nothing.
