Most hacks with their own story/region are going to either be full of edge or cringe. This is because almost all of the stories are the creator's own (normally really awful) fanfiction.

I always said they were inspired by shitty fanfiction from the start. So was Black/White 1's plot as a whole.

I also always said that the Gen IV legends are mostly based on the old PokeGod rumors.
