If Kanga came down from the banlist to OU again it couldn't lead with Fake Out now because of Mega Gallade. It would either have to run Sucker Punch, risking an easy +2 thanks to Justified, or getting ripped apart of Close Combat.

Though the SD Skill Swap set is really hilarious OP, fucks over M-Sableye, Azumarill, Heatran, Gliscor, basically almost every switch in to Gallade if you predict correctly, goes through sub to for extra fuck you to Gliscor

Don't fix what isn't damaged OP, one of the good things about M-Gallade is that it isn't ability reliant like most megas/pokemon and still holds its own just fine. It was lucky to get the stats it had when its a mega and has a great movepool which makes it versatile.

Gallade's shitty ability means he can get an absurdly good stat spread to complement his giant movepool and good typing.

Holy shit, this is one of the funnest set that is actually viable to some degree, every Gallade switch in is fucked with this one, and thanks to Inner Focus apparent uselesness it doesn't help the enemy much, and a lot of mega rely on their ability as well, making Skill Swap a really beneficial move to M-Gallade

Fuck, just tried it, I did not expect Skill Swap to be actually effective

I used SD, Knock Off(Used to be Zen Headbutt but Knock Off is better), Drain Punch, Skill Swap, maybe i'll post some replay later

Also im having quite a lot of fun using Will-o-Wisp, Destiny Bond, Encore and Taunt on Gallade, this thing is so fun to use, no wonder poor Megacham got outclassed to oblivion

Never seen Wisp/DB/Encore Gallade before, seems fun though, any other usable support move?

SD, Knock Off, Close Combat is enough to barge through things that aren't fairy so he can spare one slot for support move I guess

I use CBStoutland with Tyranitar in Doubles. It's spread is it just outspeed base 150+ and the rest spared to its Bulk.

This thing just make things faint. It's already good. But if you want it better, ExtremeSpeed isn't what it needs. It's a boosting move that isn't Work Up or fucking Howl.

Sadly, almost every Boosting move don't fit Stoutland.

Aditionally: a mega evolution that gives it a boost for special defense and a Dark typing, so it is an all around wall without weaknesses, while its non-mega has the niche to be switched into fairies and fighting types.

The best thing would actually be an evolution and then a poison/dark mega:
>regular weezing with eviolite and pain split due to the low hp
>evolution of weezing that fixes its hp and has better stats overall, used with recovery
>mega eveolution of the mega with a SpD boost and dark type for muh no weaknesses

But that'd be too much at once. So just Recover would be fine.

Because after getting a Mega its all downhill from there. Eventually some younger, fresh mon will come up with its sick Megastone and GF will give it a Mega that completely outclasses yours just because they want it to be the new Luke and suddenly your niche is gone and you hit rock bottom, stuck in FU with the likes of Stantler and Lumineon.

Not having a mega that is quickbanned to Ubers means you'll be irrelevant by next gen.

Im not twelve faggot, but I really think Gardevoir would've appreciated a defense boost compared to where the 20 points actually went to. 85 is not even close to physical walling standards, but it will be bulky enough to take a non-STAB Poison and Steel attack with HP investment. And it might be able to hard counter the Lati twins lacking Shadow Ball without being 2HKOed by their Psyshocks after rocks. Any defense boost would help it greatly in a majority of situations. And unlike Gardevoir, the other two got stats buffs on the right places which seems unfair as fuck.

Another problem is just the dark typing itself right now.

STAB knock off is really not enough to push pangoro into a team spot without being outclassed or dead weight and being dark type makes it a bit of a glass cannon with how slow it is. You pretty much have to baton pass shit to make it effective and I hate that kind of strategy because it's not reliable.

Well check again. Thanks to the new tutors it jumped from PU to RU by usage and is actually ranked in the UU and OU viability rankings. In OU, it has a niche as a Fighting type with Scrappy that doesn't eat up your mega slot unlike Lopunny. While the ability is useless on a Dark type, Sableye takes pitty from Knock Off and proceeds to burn you. Which means Pangoro can serve as a hard check after it mega evolves. And Pangoro can actually pull it's own weight without relying on it's abilities thanks to it's capability to wallbreak. It's AV set serves as a lesser Conk that can reliably take on the Lati Twins. And a SD+Mold Breaker set fucks over all variants of Unaware Clefable and destroys it with a +2 Gunk Shot. Its way more viable than a majority of Fighting types in the lower tiers, especially Machamp which says alot.

I'm thankful for what Pidgeot has. The stats of the Mega were one of the best ways to make it strong without going for a physical Gale Wings build that would be way too powerful. Hurricane is awesome, and Heat Wave is a decent coverage move. I still just dream about what could be with just a little extra push. If you gave Klinklang Earthquake would make it completely viable, and yet there's mons like Mantine who have it for no logical reason; while all the mons that get "Fighting Spirit Bullet" are humanoid with arms or are related to fighting in some way, both of which Pidgeot does fit in.

What it really needs are more tools to abuse Screen Grace with. Rock Slide and Headbutt could work. Although it does get a pseudo physical Hidden Power with natural gift so Acrobatics would be nice for it so it can make use of the missing item slot
