Does anyone have any cool ideas for a new battle format? I feel like Rotations needs to be replaced at some point since it lacks the popularity and activity of singles/doubles/triples. There's muh patterns of them introducing few formats every two gens so I wouldn't be surprised if gamefreak is cooking something up for gen 7.

I'm aware of free for alls but I don't think they'd work well for ranked online matches (eg. everyone could just pick on the top player), they seem more suited for laid back fun with friends
