To be honest, Gen 3 and Gen 4 were fantastic gens....They had obvious flaws, but every gen does I think. Gen 6 was pretty good, but it felt more like a "test" for future generations....it was...missing something. BW2 were just downright fantastic.

Gen IV has the most refreshing, clean OST. I don't know how to describe it.

I've replayed Platinum 4 times and I feel about ready to start my 5th playthrough. Sinnoh is just such a nice region.

what I think makes people iffy towards the OST is the use of more synths and not as much bass or precussion, but I think it was a welcome change

not gonna hide that gen 4 was definitely my favorite, though
