>>22950167You know, I was wondering what my problem with the anime was, and this about summed it up. OG was insane at times, and it had a nice charm to it. Even if it had some completely nonsense things like "aim for the horn", it also had stuff like the giant Pokemon episode, the Gastly episode, and the banned Safari Zone episode. Things went off the rails and it really reminded you like, hey, this is a completely different and at times, crazy world that's going on here.
The only series after that which was good was DP, mainly because Ash actually became a competent trainer, and we also got to follow Dawn and see the flashy Contests.
